New is fleeting the caliber that’s been created at RR by management’s commitment to excellence (& fun), the amazing staff, the ambience and views make it Station’s successful destination for solos,families, business. Now to the appeal: Yes, I know the Durango scheduled to open in October will be new (I was told no coffee shop). I want to give shout outs to Steve for an immaculate room each day staff who came within 15 minutes to fix my safe the early morning servers at Lucky Penny front desk staff who represent a special welcoming/departing face for RR staff and regulars at the Lanes who helped me get a turkey and those Buffalo Chief machines that paid out. Ask for room 12102 with its mountain views and take advantage of everything RR has to offer.

Recent positive reviews are full of examples – let me say I agree 100%. There were a lot of cars that were being turned around at the entrance without a reservation.īoth a review and an appeal. However, as of March you had to reserve a time in advance to get to Red Rock canyon which we didn’t do and only availability was in the afternoon.

Also, valet parking is free and if you are looking for a hike Red Rock canyon is near by with lots of trails. If you do want to go to the Strip, you are probably looking at a $50-60 Uber each way so that can add up. Overall, this is great place to stay with all the Vegas type options. Mostly $10 minimum accept at times on the weekend where the cheapest table was $15. It’s nice that that Black Jack tables all pay 3/2 for blackjack which is hard to find on the Strip. Table games were plentiful, and didn’t have an issue getting a seat. The Sportsbook has everything you need and is a good setup.

There is also a movie theater and bowling alley attached which are good family options. Large pool outside but on busy weekends and you want to reserve a cabana due so we’ll ahead of time. In addition is a formal Italian, casual American, sushi, noodle bar, and a couple chains (Yardhouse and Lucille’s). The cornerstone is T-bones, Vegas steakhouse. Depending on where your room is you may have a bit of walk from the elevators which are on one end of the property. The standard rooms a large and comfortable as is the bathroom. Red Rock has everything you could want but being 10 miles off the strip you avoid most of the Vegas craziness. I stayed for the 2nd weekend of March Madness.
